Manila, Philippines — Style and function meet in G-SHOCK’s new Luxe Black 2100 collection, a four-piece series that pairs a more understated aesthetic with the durability and performance expected from the brand.
The collection reworks the familiar 2100 silhouette with matte black finishes, metallic detailing and redesigned elements, giving the iconic G-SHOCK a more versatile presence.
Luxe Black is now available at G-SHOCK stores and authorized dealers nationwide, as well as through the CASIO G-SHOCK website, Shopee, TikTok, Lazada and Zalora.
The collection responds to a growing preference for understated fashion, where consumers are increasingly drawn to pieces that can work across different occasions rather than being defined by a single look.
“More than just an aesthetic, quiet luxury is a mindset, and Luxe Black is G-SHOCK’s answer to it,” said Sena Kuroda, Regional Sales Manager of the Timepieces Division at CASIO South East Asia. “We’re keeping the durability the brand has always been built on, but expressing it through material and finish instead of visual volume. It’s a sign of where G-SHOCK is headed: toughness that can flex with how people actually want to dress, not just one fixed look.”
The collection’s monochromatic palette allows the watches to work naturally with everyday wardrobes, while refined metallic accents provide subtle visual interest.
The GM-2100LXB-1A (₱17,010) and GM-2100LXB-1A9 (₱15,710) feature hairline-finished metal bezels with black ion plating, matte black dials and silver- or gold-toned accents.
The GA-2100LXB-1A (₱9,430) and GA-2100LXB-1A9 (₱9,430) offer a lightweight option with matte-finished octagonal bezels and bands, metallic vapor-deposited indexes and lightweight resin construction.
Despite the collection’s refined appearance, its functionality remains firmly rooted in G-SHOCK performance. All four models feature shock resistance, 20-bar water resistance, stopwatch and timer functions, world time across 48 cities, Hand Shift, double LED Super Illuminator lighting and up to five daily alarms.
Bio-based resin is also incorporated into key bezel and band components, supporting a more sustainability-minded approach to material selection.
The result is a collection that demonstrates how everyday functionality can coexist with a more polished design language.
